Canada Day BBQ - A Huge Success!

In spite of the wind and rain, the 2016 Canada Day BBQ was a huge success with over 300 residents attending this celebration. E&H Property Management, with generous support from a range of sponsors, served a mountain of burgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers to hungry residents.

This year included a very special unveiling of a commemorative stone to recognize Rupert Bronsdon's legacy in developing this amazing property and which officially re-named the Recreation Centre to the "Rupert Bronsdon Community Centre." It was inspiring to hear the history behind Lighthouse Point and the energy, attention and determination that underpinned Rupert's drive to create a truly unique community.

That year also included the first Community Fair at Lighthouse Point, where residents were able to learn about and sign up for a range of social groups and causes active in the community, including the Phrag Fighters, LHP Tennis, the Mahjong group and volunteers from Save the Lighthouse.
